On Day 2 of his two-day state visit to Plateau state, President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated the state tractor ownership scheme on Friday, after which he drove a tractor in Jos, the Plateau capital.
Among those present at the ceremony were the governor of the state, Simon Lalong, as well as the minister of agriculture, Audu Ogbeh.
The president arrived in Plateau on Thursday to a rock-star welcome by the government and people of the state. The day was even declared as a public holiday. He is expected to return to the State House in Abuja on Friday afternoon.
