The Peoples Democratic Party has responded to the jab directed its way on Saturday by the All Progressives Congress spokesman and minister designate, Lai Mohammed.
In a counter statement released by Olisa Metuh, the PDP explained that Lai Mohammed was not ready to hold a responsible national office in a democratic government.
According to Metuh, Mohammed’s perchance for libel tells a lot about his ‘background, pedigree, upbringing and emptiness as a low life’.
The PDP spokesperson advised the Minister-Designate to “shed his offensive narcissist tendencies even in his desperation not to end up being a minister without a portfolio”.
He added: “Having been a beneficiary of the benevolence and forgiving spirit of the senate president, one would expect him now to be mature, decent, civil and more organised in his responses to public comments”.
